I live in Milwaukie, Oregon (soon to retire in late fall 2018) and have 2 grown children. A daughter who lives in Fort Worth, Tx with my three beautiful grandchildren, A son who lives in Oregon and is a High School History teacher and Head Football Coach. I have always been doing some sort of crafting or needlework all of my life. I have painted ceramics and tole painted on wood cut outs. In the 70's I started with embroidery, then counted cross-stitch. I crocheted many afgans and although I have always preferred the look of knitting over crochet, I failed miserably at knitting. I loved making hats and the Teddy Bears. I have made the Teddy Bears for a group in Eugene, Oregon called Heartwarmers that give the bears and fleece blankets to hospitals. I am looking into making the Teddy Bears and giving them to the local Police or Sheriff's department to give to children they may come in contact with. I have made a stack of hats to give to a local homeless shelter. I want to thank Scarlett for her fantastic patterns. I have made several of the other animals for co workers and friends.
